Antica Langa was born in 1999, in Alba, heart of the Langhe.
Cristiano’s only 25, but he is provided with the necessary enthusiasm and willfulness to fund his own little company, with the approval of his mother Mirella.
His goal is to provide all the gourmets with the possibility of enjoying Langhe’s typical delicatessen, all year long: from cheese to salami, from olive oil to butter with truffle aroma….
The constant research for the rediscovery of the “ancient” flavours of the territory pushed Cristiano to propose to his customers the real “bagna caoda” (garlic, anchovy and oil sauce), the “ Antipasto della Nonna” (vegetables appetizer) , the “Bagnet” green sauce and many other sauces prepared with the same old and simple recipe and with fresh and seasonal ingredients.
This is, indeed, the real strength of our little craft business: proposing good and genuine specialties as the ones our ancestors used to make.
This choice was rewarded by our customers, both in Italy and abroad, spurring Cristiano on his research, whose outputs are, thus, the chili peppers, cultivated by peasants in the surroundings of Alba, selected one by one, the seasonal vegetables  grilled and ready to be enjoyed with a steak of Piedmonts “Fassona” veal meat.
Since Veronica and Virginia, our daughters, go to school, my helping in the company became my main activity, for the my husband’s passion for the genuine food, cooked with care, won me over and I hope the same will happen with you, rediscovering the flavors of our land, opening one of our jars.
